How Your Old Phone's Buyback Quote Is Decided

Model, storage, screen, body, faults and accessories - everything that decides your instant quote.

Most resale apps show a single number and hide how they reached it. Here is exactly what we look at, so there are no surprises when the executive arrives.

What decides your quote

  1. Model and storage. A flawless unit of your exact model and storage variant sets the starting point. Higher storage variants are worth more.
  2. Screen condition. Flawless, minor hairline scratches, cracked outer glass with working touch, lines or black spots, and dead touch are all treated differently. The screen is the most expensive part of a modern phone, so it matters most.
  3. Body and frame. Minor usage marks, heavy dents, a bent frame or cracked back glass each lower the quote.
  4. Hardware faults. Low battery health, camera, Face ID or fingerprint, speaker or mic, and Wi-Fi or network problems are each checked.
  5. Bill, box and charger. A valid tax invoice, the box with matching IMEI, and the original charger and cable all help your quote.

A phone that switches on always receives a fair minimum payout, and payment is rounded for clean UPI or cash settlement.

What happens at your door

The technician runs a 5-minute check covering the IMEI, screen, cameras, sensors and battery health. If everything matches what you selected, you are paid instantly by UPI or cash. If something differs, the quote is re-checked in front of you, so there are no surprise cuts.

Tips to get the best quote

  • Keep the bill and box; both help your quote.
  • Remove your iCloud or Google account before pickup. A locked phone cannot be bought.
  • A tempered glass and case now protect you from screen and body deductions later.
